Critical Milestones

  1. Feb 2010: Sarah Ferguson credits Jeffrey Epstein with introducing her to David Stern, highlighting his "great rolodex for China." This establishes the Royal-Epstein-China bridge.
  2. Feb 2011: Stern renames "Asia Gateway China" to Witan Group. Tells Epstein it is "safe" and approved by Prince Andrew.
  3. Mar 2011: Stern appoints himself "CEO Special Situations" at JP Morgan (via Witan), institutionalizing the operation with Jes Staley's backing.
  4. Sept 25, 2011: Sultan introduces Epstein to President Guelleh at the Waldorf Astoria (New York).
